CHURCHES IN SAPELE JOIN CHRISTIANS WORLDWIDE TO COMMEMORATE PALM SUNDAY.

Christians in Sapele town join Christians worldwide to mark Palm Sunday in joyous moods.

All Churches in Sapele today were in elated mood as they mark this year's Palm Sunday by decorating their Churches with Palm fronds and holding of palms, a symbol of the day.

Palm Sunday is commemorated by Christians worldwide to remember the triumphant  entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, a week before his crucifixion. 

The purpose of the triumphant entry is a reminder of the welcoming of Jesus into our hearts and of our willingness to follow him as Jesus is the King that loves and can die for his subjects---- Rev. Dr. Ajagbe, Speaking on the topic ".A Life of Purpose "  at the Palm Sunday service at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Ajagbe emphasised that the life that Jesus Christ lived was a life of purpose and all that claimed to be like Him( Christ-like) should endeavour to live a life of purpose.
