MOTHER CRUSHED 11YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO DEATH IN SAPELE.

A lady in Sapele has crushed her 11 year old daughter to death with her husband's car on Wednesday 5 April.

The incident happened at Atufe road, opposite Assemblies of God Church.

It was gathered that the car was faulty and the Father of the girl has warned before leaving home that nobody should try to move the car because of the fault in it.

A eye witness that gave her name as gladys said it is a known fact in the area that the lady that drove the car was learning how to drive, so when she came out of her home to the car, those that knew her made way for her but surprisingly, instead of moving the car backward, she stepped on the accelerator, moving forward, hitting her own child of 11 and others.

The child identified as Ella, died as a result of the accident, while others sustained injuries.

Commenting on the incident, a neighbor that gave his name as David Asagba said it is really tragic for the family and those living close to them as the accident could have been avoided if the warning passed by the Father of Ella, got to her Mother.
