The Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice Asaba, Delta State Mr Omamuzo Erebe, has charged Corp Members serving in the Ministry to be hard working and be diligent with their jobs.
Mr Erebe who amongst other Directors of the Ministry addressed the youth Coppers in an interactive session, pointed that they stand a better chance tomorrow if they perform effectively while in service.
Outing from the Scripture, he said, " sees a man who is diligent in his ways, he will not stand before mean men, but he will stand before kings"
He told them that if they are diligent and disciplined in what so ever they do, this will take them very far in their standard of life above their mates
The Solicitor-General advised them to excel in what so ever they do now bearing in mind that the moment they are through with service, family pressure will set in.
He admonished them further to always feel free to channel their complaints to him or their leader when ever the need arises for immediate solution.
Erebe called on coppers who are already (called to Bar) to always go to court, handle cases which will enhance their proficiency on the job after service .
Some Directors of the Ministry who advised the Corp Members, told them to always respect seniority, take their duties very serious and feel free to say what their challenges are at all times as they are not unapproachable .
Mr Osita Okediadi, Head of Revenue Unit of the Ministry , told them that the Legal profession is a unique one where lawyers dress well to work as dignified men and women.
Paulette PoPo, the head of the Attorney-General's Chambers Stated that there is no Law firm in the Country that is bigger that the Ministry of Justice, appealing to them to explore the unique advantage in the Ministry so that at the end they will be better than what they were before they came.
A Corp Member, Mr Ogwugwa Cosmos, appreciated the Solicitor-General and his Boss Mr Ifode Erheriene, the Head of the Ogwashi-uku zone of the Ministry for their fatherly role and support to the Coppers.
He described Mr Erebe as a man who is filled with the benevolent spirit of human kindness, Stating that after his life journey on earth,in his next life, the Solicitor-General would be his father.
