INOAGHAN VISIT SHELL ROAD, ASCERTAIN WORK DONE IN CURBING FLOOD.

The Executive Chairman Sapele Local government area, Hon. Eugene Okpe Inoaghan on Thursday September 7, paid a visit to Banga road, Mona school road, Community road and Powerline road within Shell road to assess level of work done to resolve flooding in the area.

Inoaghan had earlier moved excavator, and swam buggy to clear up the affected area and open up strategic channels for water to be evecuated.

Residents of the area poured enconium on the Chairman for swiftly responding to their cry for help against flooding as a result of block drains and canals.

Mr. Nelson Uwafia, a resident at Banga road said this action of the Chairman is commendable as they have been battling flood for years and when the rain are to come, they usually contribute money to make channels for water to move to swamp but these efforts were mostly defeated as strategic canals for water to be evacuated are blocked.

In the entourage of the Chairman were, Rt. Hon. Felix Ayemidejor, Secretary, to the local government Council, Come Ejiro Odebala and others.
