HARVEST OF PROJECTS: OBOREVWORI COMMISSION PROJECTS IN SAPELE ... COMMEND INOAGHAN FOR QUALITY OF PROJECTS EXECUTED.

 

It was a harvest of projects as The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori today, Commissions projects executed by the administration of Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, Chairman, Sapele Local Government Area of the state.

While commissioning the roads, schools, health centres and other infrastructure across the Local Government Area, Governor Oborevwori expressed satisfaction with the quality and people-oriented nature of the projects, saying it demonstrated good utilization of resources and responsiveness to the yearnings of the people.

He commended Hon. Inoaghan for leaving behind a legacy of excellent service delivery, noting that past administrations were often criticized for lack of impactful projects but the story has changed for the better in Sapele LGA. 

"I'm proud to say this is money well utilized. You have not disappointed your people. Posterity will judge us based on the legacy of good governance, transparency and accountability we leave behind," the Governor stated.

While welcoming His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to Sapele local government area,, Hon. Inoaghan thanked Governor Oborevwori for finding time out of his busy schedule to visit Sapele and commission the projects, which included the construction of Inoaghan Crescent, Adarighofua Road, a modern Legislative Chamber, schools, health centres, market stores and others.

He said the projects were executed through direct labour inline with Governor Oborevwori's M.O.R.E agenda to advance Delta State. Hon. Inoaghan assured of the council's continued support for the Governor's vision and pledged more dividends of democracy to residents.

Inoaghan added that most of the projects executed were done to ameliorate the difficulties people go through in the local government area, sighting the 59 lock up and open stores at Amukpe market as a case study, Inoaghan said the project helped to solve the problem of traders selling their wares on a part of the ever busy Sapele/ Warri express way.

Residents who spoke at the event commended the projects and Governor Oborevwori for the inspection, saying it would boost development and end years of suffering on the dilapidated roads. They appealed for more impactful projects and pledged continuous support.
