NUJ Sapele Chapel congratulated the newly elected excos of the Delta State NUJ with comrade Churchill Oyowe as Chairman and the Power Team taking all Five positions.
It was an overwhelming victory for the Power Team as Comrade Felix Ekwue emerge as Vice Chairman, Comrade Victor Sorokwu as Secretary, Comrade Josephine Omodion as Assistant Secretary and Comrade Caroline Ubini as Treasurer.
Bishop Odudu of Sapele Chapel NUJ, commenting on the victory said it was a well deserved victory and he is particularly glad that new faces has emerged as Excos of the state NUJ Council.
He said it is hoped that new ideas will begin to roll in to take the Council to the next level.
Odudu sent his heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Churchill Oyowe, his team, and the entire members of NUJ State Council.
Comrade Andrew Owobete, another member of NUJ Sapele Chapel said the election has come and gone, there is no Victor and no Vanguish as stated by the newly elected Chairman of the State Council, Churchill Oyowe.
Andrew further stated that he look forward to a better State NUJ Council with the caliber of persons in the executive presently.
Other Journalist in Sapele expressed similar view on the emergence of the New faces of Delta State NUJ Council executives led by Comrade Churchill Oyowe and voiced their belief of a better tomorrow for the State Council.
